| Academic: | Minimum 4 years BS Microbiological Science Degree or a BS in Science with a 2 year minimum microbiological experience. Must be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel. |
| Experience: | 2 years minimum supervisory experience in a QA food or beverage laboratory including microbiological and product analysis required. |
| Qualifications: | Must be able to perform job responsibilities in a team-based work environment. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate accurate, detailed information efficiently both internally at FNG and externally to both domestic and export customers. Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. Must be flexible. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and organize personal job responsibilities, special projects and designated lab technician responsibilities. |
| Job Functions: | The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Main Lab Resource is to provide leadership and direction to the micro lab and main lab technicians. Providing an accurate and continuous flow of laboratory analysis information amongst multiple intra plant groups is also essential. The Main Lab resource coordinates the training for all QA new hires and facilitates proficiency training to examine the technical skills acquired during training. The Main Lab Resource maintains multiple data bases for export products, export products inventory tracking, export products microbiology tracking and a variety of special products. The Main Lab Resource investigates and responds to consumer and customer complaints. Regular attendance required. Must interact cordially with co-workers. |
| Additional Duties: | All other job duties and responsibilities are designated by QA Management, Export Sales Department and other Departments at Florida’s Natural Growers. |
